Hi everyone! Grandma591 here and hoping that your having a very good day and that your life is going smoothly too. Bless you and your families. My family is doing great! The little ones really enjoy these real warm days, because, grandma and papa let them play in the sprinkler. It's so much fun to watch them running through the water and hearing their laughter! There's nothing like the laughter of a child to brighten up your day. I read a very good book awhile back, called Microbe by Bill Clem. He writes medical thrillers. This was really good. If you like medical thrillers, this is one for you, it will grab you and pull you right into the story!And it won't let go until the story ends! Oh, give me the Unknown and a good old fashioned SCARE anytime!! But true crime is still my favorite. They both have that unknown and dark qualities in them, which is why I suppose I like them both so much. But it is still true crime that keeps me reading the most. I like to know what is going on in the world outside of my small farming town, we get the news alright, but sometimes we miss some of the more worldly news, about people and what's happening to them. And I believe that we should know about more of the "BAD" people and what they are doing to our fellow human beings and why they are doing it. You know something, I still think I don't have this Blog thing down right. I really an not sure what I am supposed to be writing about on any one spot. Can any one help me? Do I talk about my life and family and things that mean something to me, like things that I like or don't like, should I tell people about them? I would sure appreciate it if you could clue me in as to how to go about this blogging. Because what I have been doing every once in awhile has been alot of fun for me. Grandma's Blog

Here, it's me Grandma591. Not much going on around here. I have spent the afternoon on the computer looking for a new author(well, he's new to me-I've only read 1 of his books-but it was terrific!). His name is Bill Clem. Here are some of his books: Microbe, Medicine Cup, They all Fall Down, Immortal, Bliss, Diencephalon, Presidential Donor, and Skin Deep. I don't get to buy books very much anymore, so I have to be real careful which ones I choose, and I want to get his book of "Skin Deep". Another "new" author is Steve Alten; Meg series (about Magolodon), Domain Series(2 books in this series), Goliath, and Meg 4: Hell's aquarium(due out sometime this year. If anyone knows of any new True Crime books out or coming out this year, I would appreciate if you'd let me know. Thanks. My Family is doing great, now that school is out for the summer. The 3 younger ones(1 1/2, 5, 5 1/2) all go to day care during the week, they take them on little trips, zoo, swimming, pic nics, and loads of other things. Then later in the evening they come upstairs here at our house and spend some time with papa and grandma. My son and his wife bought me the most beautiful Rosary bracelet, it is so very special to me and it helps me alot. See, I'm still not very good at blogging, so I can use any help you could give me.
